ONTARIO GOP DELEGATES BACK STATE SUPREME COURT CANDIDATES AT SEVENTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT CONVENTION

ROCHESTER - Ontario County delegates joined with delegates from seven counties to nominate two State Supreme Court Justice candidates at the Republican 7th Judicial District Convention Thursday, August 9, 2024 at the Rocheter Police Locust Club, Rochester, New York.
Judge Stacey Romeo and attorney Ed White were unanimously nominated to seek the two State Supreme Court Justice seats available in the November election.
The convention is held annually to nominate candidates for State Supreme Court. Delegates attended from the eight counties in the 7th Judicial District, including Ontario, Cayuga, Livingston, Monroe, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne and Yates.
Trisha Turner, OCRC Republican Chair, was elected to the position of permanent chair of the convention and Mike Hillier, Livingston County Chair, was elected permanent secretary.

Ontario County Republican Audit Sub-Committee
The Audit Committee of the Ontario County Republican Committee is the sub-committee that is charged with reviewing our financial records to provide a “checks and balance” system. The Audit Committee convenes to review the financial reports, and confirms the accounting practices of the Ontario County Republican Committee.
